At Representaciones del Caribe Trading (“Representaciones”), we recognize the importance of protecting your personal data and are committed to processing it responsibly and in accordance with the data protection laws of the Dominican Republic and Panama. This Privacy Statement describes the general privacy practices of Representaciones that apply to the personal data we collect, use, and share about consumers and other individuals within our clients, business partners, suppliers, and other organizations with which Representaciones has or contemplates a business relationship.

Representaciones respects the privacy of its customers and visitors to its websites. All personal data collected and used is protected, and only authorized personnel have access to it. We continuously enhance our security controls to protect your personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and use, as well as against any loss, destruction, damage, theft, or accidental disclosure.

Recruitment: If you apply for a job at Representaciones, we will process your personal data to facilitate the entire job application process based on our legitimate interests for recruitment. After the procedure, we will delete your personal data within 12 months of the completion of the procedure for this specific job position, unless we have informed you that we need it for other purposes and you have given us your explicit permission to do so. The following personal data may be processed for the job application procedure:
– Any personal data you provide through our job application form or otherwise, including but not limited to: full name, email address, phone number, photo, cover letter, resume, LinkedIn profile, and the job position you applied for.
– Statuses, notes, and planning related to your job application.
– Email communications.
– Assessment results.

Under GDPR, we are obligated to inform you that the retention of personal data in your job application may be a disadvantage compared to other candidates applying for the same position.

Children:Representaciones understands the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. In particular, our sites are not designed intentionally for or directed at children under 16 years of age.
